Hey all,
Many people have asked me about how the resolutions will be presented in committee. We should be getting a projector, but just in case, try and bring an extra flash drive to save your resolutions on.
I hope that answers your question.

I would just like to point out that the article, “China: Food Poisoning Deaths Up in 2007” inadequately depicts China’s situation concerning food safety.
Although deaths were up 32 percent from the previous year, overall cases of food poisoning fell to 506, 26 percent less than the previous year.
The spike can be attributed to the increased concentration of harmful chemicals in China’s Bohai Sea, a product of increased industrial pollution; it has nothing to do with China’s lack of regulation. In fact, last year China saw a 7.2% increase in the acceptance rate of its food exports by foreign nations’ quality standards. (1)
Most of the deaths involved domestic food in rural areas that slipped through China’s food supervision network. A similar occurrence in Beijing during the 2008 Olympics is near impossible.
